Paper Tube Waste Paper Basket

 I've just finished a little project I've been meaning to do for ages - a colourful paper-tube waste paper basket.  

It is made from the pages of a large coffee table book. The pages were rolled into sturdy tubes around a dowel stick and secured with wood glue.  

The tubes were then joined together with hair clips or bobby pins to form a cylinder.  This was then fitted over a straight sided plastic dustbin we already had.

I love the multicoloured print pages in between the black and white ones, and the bright page tips too!
