Wrapped Up with Itswhatiminto

On Wednesday, a group of us Durban bloggers were invited to a special tea with Sara Trickett and Tyrone Bradley of Itswhatiminto.

We had each been given a sealed gift, which we had to wrap.  When we arrived, the parcels were photographed and then we got to open our lovely gifts. Tyrone Bradley's photos here document everyone's creative expression beautifully, and also our delight when we found out what we had received!

 It was a great time of connecting and having fun.

Made from vintage knives - the not so valuable ones you get for next to nothing at charity shops!

Sari Wreath

I just love the Christmas wreath that my daughter Natalie made out of strips of vintage sari fabric and some found ribbon and lace.

She mounted it all on an old lampshade ring and added some Christmas lights with a battery pack!

The credit I can take for this - she raided my sari and lace collection!

Retro Vase Giveaway

The other day, while making a batch of vinyl record products, I came across this beauty.  It was a locally pressed LP and a gorgeous tangerine colour.  

This is pretty much a one-off, so I decided to make it a giveaway.
