We celebrated my friend Debbie’s birthday at the
Marianhill Monastery Tea Garden. I loved the friendly service, the thick farm cream, the piped music under the huge trees and the German architecture.

A little bit of Europe in Africa. If you are in Durban, and the weather is good, treat yourself to an inspirational, get-away-from-it-all experience.

Thank you very much for your kindwords. Sometimes we feel that our efforts to create a 3dimensional experience is "lost in the translation" but every now and again someone says thank you and makes it worthwhile. On the 4th of november we are doing a hike around the monastery with Amblers, starting at the tea garden and I would like to invite you along to really experience the tea garden and the monastery experience in full. We will post the details on our website.
