Literary Folds

A good way to beautifully use some old paperbacks! I made these table decorations from vintage books! I don't read novels, so I had to buy some from a charity shop. I giggled inwardly when the shop assistant kindly pointed out to me that I had bought 3 copies of the same book. I told her it was fine, I wasn't going to read them - just fold them! Fold them? Yes Fold them!
I got the idea from: Matthew Mead: Head over there for lots more "fresh ideas for modern living"!

My great-aunt used to do that! Her house was full of old copies of Reader's Digest folded into shapes. She kept spare cash in them....

What an informative site and your links led to other wonderful creative people. Love the idea, and the photo, something about it. Might give the paper folding a go.

I love the vintage books folded but the link doesn't go how you fold them just a picture and a bit of text, l was going to dye them each in a different colour then fold them or dye afterwards but now l can't find how to fold them, anyone know, will trade for a online workshop of mine
