I find old 'how-to' instructions fascinating.These how-to-crochet drawings came from a vintage book of mine.

I scanned the pics and grouped them together,

then I gave the nails a colourful manicure.

I love the graciousness of the hands and the sense of gentle movement.

I immediately noticed the "nail varnish" - you tickle me pink (-:
Maybe if I am patient I can also looks gracious while crocheting - I always have one finger that sticks up in the air...
