Beautiful Books, Inside and Out

I am busy on an exciting collaborative project, using folded books! It will be a while before I can show you what I am doing.
I don't read novels [I prefer How-To books] but I have loved deconstructing  these vintage books - and enjoying the linen, the fonts, the library markings, etc
Some of the dust covers are works of art in themselves.  I found this dust cover on one of Neville Shute's books appealing and so I went off on a creative tangent and made it into a cover for my handbag notebook!
I know it will add an edge to my scribbled shopping lists and reminders!

You really have such an eye for detail. I just love the pics you have shown - it's like seeing a bit of history in a virtual museum.
Love that your notebook is "on the beach".
I hope the project brings you great joy!
