I have been experimenting with vintage paper mache. I love the patterns that form from the strips of old books.
Thanks to Elle South Africa for including Freshly Found in an article featuring paper artists. The June issue features a group of us who love to work with paper.

Elle is certainly worth the paper it's written on! Well done.
I once tried to create a little book stack that is supposed to look weathered and tied with a string, as an ornament for my flat. The idea was to gather old books and rip the covers off.
I couldn't get it over my heart to hurt the books, and now they are all just hanging around in my flat.
