Pincushion

I have lived without a pincushion for too long, so...I made this one with firm woven fabric from a vintage tie, and an old flower pot!Inspired by Jesse!

Oh my word, I'd forgotten that they exist! Clever of you to make one!
I always have pins all over. Well, not always, only when I actually do some seamstressing - and I find it irritating cos they have a way of hiding and falling on the floor.
(You sure do have lots of pairs of scissors, though!)

Lovely! Great idea to use a fairly heavy base - the eggcup I used tipped over annoyingly, but this one looks solid.

You know I love pincushions and this one is great. I'm fascinated by all the scissors in the background. Added to your vintage collection you must have quite a few pairs!

You are SO clever! A nice big one seems like a good idea... How do you get the inside stuffed bit to stay put though? Do you glue it down?

Love it! I have pin cushions on my summer "create" list - yours turned out lovely.

You need to make more of these and sell them. I've never seen a cooler pin cushion!
