On Saturday night we had 13 people for dinner. Thanks to Graham D who was here early and snapped some of the final preparations. I don't relish the cooking, but I enjoy the decorating and the company!
I found a few tiny sprigs of mint and some rosemary, strawberry and naartjie to infuse into the jugs of water. The azaleas in our garden are magnificent here at the moment, so I enjoyed picking some fresh white ones. The lovely flowers on the sideboard are one of the new products which I will be stocking in my shop. I have not been a brilliant blogger or blog visitor lately as I have poured as much time as possible into my website. I have been on a steep learning curve! And I realise that there is a lot more to go. The plan is that it will go live late next week!

Your table decor looks wonderful. Love the all white look!
Pretty, elegant, crisp!
Thinking of you and the shop (-:
Can't wait to see the website... and those flowers up close!
Everything looks fresh and elegant!
It all looks beautiful Denise! I too love the table and room setting stuff but am so not about the cooking... I usually make an effort but people have even been known to have Thai food takeaways when they've come to me for dinner - beautifully presented of course! I reckon they're coming for the company and the ambiance as much as the food and no-one ever seems to mind... It's the little touches, like the infused water, that really make it special. Lovely!!!
I hope the website's coming along nicely :)
13 people to dinner is no small feat! Energy for entertaining is hard for me to muster at the moment, just too busy. But how fun it is getting together with friends - need to invest in a dishwasher to make it even simpler... :)
Very pretty table decor - thanks for sharing :)
