I am not a horsey person! Living where I do - I have a lot of horsey friends though, so I enjoyed getting a greater insight into the equine world yesterday.
The Junior SA
Tent Pegging championships are happening in Shongweni near my home. It gave me some good panning practice with my camera!

Great photos! Wow, I am impressed.
All I knew about "tent pegging" until a minute ago, is that when I pitch a tent, I ususally skip some pegs and then hope the wind stays away (-:
I'm with you on the horsey part, but those are amazing photos! especially the 2nd one. Action shots are not at all easy.
I like the photos very much. I am not a horsey person either...
I am not a horsey person either. They are too big and their teeth scare me. I've never been able to keep the apple or sugar thingie still on my hand with those teeth bared ... They make great photos though! The whole horse, not the teeth. PS That high tea looks yummy and is very elegant and civilized. I did high tea at the Mount Nelson once or twice, but these days it is a bit out of my budgetary range. PS I really, really like that string bowl! Just kitchen string? Hmm - I might try that!
Your pics have been on my mind all day. Such action! Your pics look so professional.
Plus, it makes me ♥ SA even more ... your blog really reflects the diversity and richness of life here in Mzansi!
fantastic photos! Hope to see more...
