White on White
I quickly took a pic of this special order crochet covered wine bottle, before it was delivered yesterday.
Just love the different white textures. The background is a large rectangular custom made grass mat.

Book for Its Cover
I buy a lot of books because of what I can make with them. But this one I bought, because I loved the cover.
There are some lovely patterns inside too - like this smocking diagram.
I am a true book lover, even though I seldom read them :-)
A New Manual of Needlework by E Griffith. First published in 1930. This edition was published 2 years before I was born in 1957!

Glass Cloche
Glass Cloche or Bell Jar - Originally made for protecting plants from the cold. I am using mine to protect [display] my bone china tea cup collection!
It took quite a bit of manoeuvring to get this to work. I turned the jar upside down, and stacked the cups. Placing some small plates in between prevented the whole arrangement from compacting in itself once turned the right way up!
And the gold-edged saucers are stacked on the shelf underneath!Wednesday, February 08, 2012
Market Thank Yous!
We had 2 days of Markets last weekend. Saturday was hectically hot! Well done to those shoppers who braved the heat on both days.
Thanks to Jo of Coelho Culture
and Kim of Satchels and Sidebags for popping by at the market on Saturday with their cameras and for featuring Freshly Found on their blogs!
It's always good to see your products through others' eyes!

Busy Weekend Ahead
A delightful vintage find -
This pair of tapestry musos were rather jaded and mouldy. The glass was removed and frames and mounting board sprayed black. And if they don't hurry up and sell, I think I'll keep them for myself.
The lovely i♥market has just celebrated it's 3rd birthday.
The February market is happening this Saturday on the opposite side of the Moses Mabhida Stadium in The People's Park! See you there!
