More Cushions

I've put 2 more cushions into the store today. The first one is a real favourite of mine.
I loves the blues and greens of this house tapestry and I love the way the patchwork backing made from linen samples turned out.
The next cushion is made from a vintage jersey knit evening dress.  It reminds me of the dresses my granny used to wear.
It is a lovely jade colour and the zip closure from the dress is used on the back of the cover.

Gorgeous cushions! You made me laugh with your Granny comment. Mine wore those dresses too - alwaya with a little brooch pinned on!

I think I should try and find a vintage brooch to attach to the cushion!

I love making cushions out of old granny shirts too - you know the ones with all the amazing bright patterns. Just blimming tricky to sew the slippery fabric.
Love you blog

Yes those collar covers are not the easiest things to sew :-) I made one out of satin once. That was hard.
