A Very Quick Gift Bag

Today's quick picture post shows how to make a batch of gift bags
Here we used ink-dyed paper from the previous post, but you can use any pretty paper.
The paper is wrapped around a soft-cover book as a form.  You could use other solid rectangular shapes like milk cartons or small boxes.
The back overlap seam and the folded base of the packet are glued in position with wood glue. You may want to punch holes in the top and thread some ribbon through.

A great way to use handcrafted paper - or other bits of special paper.
Make a few to keep on hand.
