The Avenue

I live in a beautiful part of the world! I thought I would like to share some of it with you - so my early morning[pre-traffic] mission was to capture some images of the Avenue of Plane Trees outside my house. I can get quite poetic about them and the way they change so much through all the seasons. Right now it is Spring here and they are still busy getting dressed in their bright greenery. Soon they will have a thick summer coat of leaves! The rich neutral tones of the bark always inspire me!

my friend used to live over the stop street at the end of this avenue. i LOVED going to visit her as the trees extracted all my negative stress and left me peaceful and happy. how lucky you are to have it right on your doorstep.
your wedding preparations look fantastic and interesting.
what a cool blog - thanks

Hi debi
Thanks for your comments! Nice to know there is someone else who has actually been down the street! Denise

Hi EG
Thanks for your comments on my spelling! There certainly is nothing "plain" about our trees!

My goodness, so much to see and comment on ~ your pottery is lovely, the blue color exquisite. The "tie" dress innovative, fun. The orange flowers are lovely. Had a big Bird of Paradise in my front yard when I lived in Hawaii. So nice to visit your blog this morning. Have a wonderful day.

No, no, no - no spelling errors.
I was saying that the Plane trees are NOT Plain.
Same old humour I've always had!
