Two or three times a week, early in the morning, I walk – to keep fit! This is no amble in the park- it is serious stuff. So we don’t stop to admire the scenery. But one house nearby has caused us to stop, stare and even come back in the car again later, with a camera!
It all made sense when I found out that this was the home of legendary garden designer -
Jan Blok. When I heard that his garden was going to be one of the
Kloof Rotary Anns "Open Gardens" this past weekend, I rushed over to his place. I was not disappointed. I was delighted! And you can see why…

The house is gorgeous! One day when I move backt o South-Africa (hubby in tow) I want to live in a house just like that.
