New Life!!!!

Years and years ago, my mom, who was an incredibly talented embroiderer, started making a table cloth.

She never did get around to finishing it. But here is the exciting bit! I cut out the pieces that she did finish and have made them into cushions!

They form a lovely focal point in my otherwise very neutral lounge.

And Yes - they do have some "Freshly Found " labels attached -

And No - they are not going anywhere!

These have huge sentimental value and they are staying right here.

You know, I have a problem: It seems as if I am always gushing, but I don't know how else to do this.

Absolutely amazing. I know of so many people who have started a big project, and then after stashing it in the cupboard for years, it gets trashed.
But NOT with you.

As the first picture was loading, I was wondering where on earth you had such a lovely plant.

Please tell your incredible mom I say "well done" on doing this so beautifully. Oh, and you are great too (-:

What beautiful embroidery! I love the way you've 'framed' it.
