Reflections on our Lake!

Haven't you always dreamt of having a chalet on the edge of a lake??

Well thanks to a massive downpour on Thursday night and a blocked stormwater drain - our dream [or is it a nightmare] has come true! Our front Garden is a lake! It is Saturday and we are still waiting for the City Engineers to help us!

The dogs are loving it...

The birds are loving it...

But we can see some more clouds in the sky and we are a little bit worried!

Wow! It's incredible. I've taken photos after downpours here, but none of it comes close to this!
Love the dogs ... they are probably hoping you will keep the lake for them.
I hope it gets sorted soon.

OMG! Good luck with the clean-up, I HOPE you don't get too much more rain, and I HOPE the City engineers get their quickly. Beautiful pics though :) At least the doggies are having fun.

Have you sunk or are you swimming?

I'd love to live on a lake! In the south, though, where I'm from, the mosquitoes would be too much with water this close. Hopefully you don't have many mosquitoes (or other annoying bugs) there.
