The
Neighbourgoods Market in Woodstock, Cape Town was a real gem of a find. It runs every Saturday morning from an old Victorian Warehouse and is a hive of activity.
Their official
web sight states "The
Neighbourgoods market has been created along ethical,
eco-friendly and organic lines, to offer a wide range of products from the community of Cape Town. "
"It is as much a source for farm fresh as well as organic foods and locally produced specialty goods, as it is a meeting point to enjoy community, swap ideas and stories..."
A highlight of my day was to meet some of the producers of those speciality goods and enjoy the benefits of the blogging community!!
What a treat for me to meet with 2 of my blogging and etsy mentors, Jesse of
Jezzeblog and Heather of
SkinnyLaMinx !
It was so good to get together with them in real life and to see their many products, which those of us who are avid readers of their blogs are so familiar with!
