Visual Rhythm

We had a wonderful time at Tembe National Elephant Park. The Game Viewing was great and the exposure to the local Tonga Tribe people, who manage and run the park, is a very enriching experience! I find visual rhythm comforting and yet exciting and I decided to snap as much rhythm as I could. I enjoyed the repetition of elements in the herd of elephants, the row of chairs, the stripes on a group of Impala, the shadows of early morning coffee drinkers and the fresh green leaves!

Your pics are amazing. I get so excited about Africa. I love how, in a way, you are capturing tessellations in nature.

I spied you thru a comment left on Paper Schmaper's blog. All I can say is great blog, I hardly know where to comment first. But seeing as elephants are my favorite animal EVER, I'll just post here and keep checking back in future.
