We had a wonderful time in Gauteng. It is the city where I grew up and spent a large part of my adult life. It was good to go there again! [But I do love living in Durbs now!]
I thought I would show you some of the inspiring sights on our trip.
We drove over the Nelson Mandela Bridge for the first time [in a downpour]. It's the largest cable-stayed bridge in South Africa. We boosted our enegy levels at Moema's in Parktown North. If you are ever in their neighbourhood - you must goAs you gaze at the amazing array of baked goodies - take their advice and "Don't drool on our glass, please!"I love the way that Lulu close by caters for their customer's canine companions!Objekt is the home of the work of some of South Africa's best designers and is well worth a visit! I love the 'Sale' sign perched on the rather ineteresting looking easel!A great few days of catching up with people and enjoying another part of the country!
