Spoon Bundles

I was hoping to show you what I have been working on, but the weather for photographs is very dark, cold and gloomy and I really want the pics to do justice to my handiwork, so we will have to wait until next week. In the mean time, here is what my spoon collection is doing at the moment. I have bundled them and tied them up with scraps of ribbon. They give me lots of pleasure! Here's a bird's eye view of the group on my side table!Previous appearances of my spoon collection here and here

Oh that looks so quaint and pretty and delicate!
Our weather in Jozi is awful. It rains on and off, but heavily. Most unseasonal.
google.co.za claims that today is the first day of autumn. I am in denial!

I think it looks even prettier because of the black surface. Who'd have thunk - given all the white you love (-:

This is a lovely idea. My Mom has so many of these spoons and I know that she grew tired of her 'traditional' little display shelves a while ago.
I think they are just laying in a drawer now.
This is an excellent way to display them.
