I spent quite a bit of time working on the Hexagon Blanket for my daughter.
It is wider than a scarf now [116 shapes] but needs to be at least 5 times the size! 464 more hexagons to go! I do hope to finish it while she still likes the idea and before she leaves home!!!

It really is so pretty! I hope your mom is still excited about the stitching up (-:
Wouldn't it be nice if all weekends could have time to do these things?
It is lovely. I love the granny squares. I am using them to make headbands for girls now. Also used them as pockets on some of the sweaters from my FW09/10 range. You have a lot more to go but it looks amazing. Cheer!
Hi there! Just to let you know that I've passed on a Kreativ Blogger award to you. You'll need to list 7 things you love and then tag 7 other bloggers who you think you deserve it. Enjoy!
So cute.
Your blanket is absolutely STUNNING!I love the colours! Lucky daughter.
I love handmade items, this is going to be so worth it when its done! Over the years I have also made blankets for young relatives, which they still have and love. Just wish they wouldn't take so long, I have currently been working on a blanket for about 2 months now, and still have ages to go! Don't give up!
Thanks Everyone! I am feeling the encouragement! Will keep you updated!
