Weekend Wrap up

I started my weekend on Friday morning at 4am. A group of us went to Summerveld to take some early morning pics and have some breakfast.

When we arrived the mist was SO thick that we had to abandon our plans to capture the sunrise and captured the horses-in-the-mist instead!

The thick fog on Friday gave way to bright sunshine on Saturday. We visited the I Heart Market in Durban.  At least 2 3 4 5 7 9  10 other Creative KZN bloggers did too! Dinkum DesignCupcake Couture, Coelho Culture, Pippa Lynch, Miss Molly, Ask Ashe, M is fir Moxie LuckyouSiblingmine and Glossary were all there!

Sunday took me out of my comfort zone into the bright sun and large crowd at the Goldfish Concert in the Botanical Gardens in Durban!

Lots of inspiration - now back to a good week of work!

Love the horses and mist. Such a fun weekend.
(I understand re your comfort zone in crowds - I always wish I could be in a bubble, and have my own loo.)

I love the concerts in the Botanical Gardens. I'm so sorry I had to miss this one. Goldfish are fantastic! I was at the market on Saturday too. I've just posted my pics. It's really quite the place on a Saturday morning in Durbs.

That picture of the tripods in the mist is fabulous - so evocative of the moment! Sounds like a lovely weekend... and I hope your week is off to a good start :)

Thanks for the mention. Hmmm - if only I knew what you looked like, I would've said hi. Probably walked straight passed each other. Those horsey photies are wistful. Are there more? Missed the Goldfish concert, but watched them setup whilst reading Sunday papers earlier on in the day. Wondering what the ducks did during the concert?!
