Lily Cartographicus!

 
 I made some origami paper lilies from an old map! I may try to add some stems, but for now they are piled in this vintage silver dish.   
I love the gentle curls and the way the roads and highways race around the petals!

They are lovely! Did you have to cut them? And do you have a link to how to make them? I am thinking they would look great made from some book pages. Hmmm, no, possibly too small, I guess you need a large piece of paper?

No cutting is required.
I did not find the instructions on the net, but from an origami book I have. Perhaps I will have to do a tut sometime!
