Today we decided to have a family picnic in the Durban Botanical Gardens in honour of my youngest daughter's recent birthday!
We had some delicious Paninis with chicken, mayo, proscuitto, pesto, etc as well as chocolate mousse to finish it all off. A lovely change to my normal Sunday cooking.
The gardens were cheerful and warm. I was fascinated by the bark of this tree near our picnic place.
My daughters always give presents beautifully - and today was no exception - I just love how my eldest daughter transformed this plain brown packet so prettily for her sister.
