Estate

One more highlight from our trip to the Cape! Our visit to Waterford Wine Estate was a pleasure! Besides the exotic chocolate and wine tasting and the friendly service, I just so enjoyed the way the estate has been built and decorated! It reminds me of the Tuscan home featured in Madarine d'Italie - the curtains, the stone work and the style!

Oh Yes!!Good observation, it definitevely has a Tuscan feel!! That's probably why I love Stellenbosch so much, the hills, the wineyards, the open space.... it reminds so much of home!! South Africa is such a beautiful country, there's so much variety and beauty, I can never get tired of it!! And of course the lovely people!!

P.S. Thank you!!

Oh that's beautiful. I'd go there just for the exotic chocolate. Love the pic with the clouds and mountain - so typical of the area.
Have a great Kzn weekend (-:

Gorgeous! Absolutely gorgeous.

Looks like the Cape came through for you again... It's a magical place, isn't it? Thank you for sharing it.

The three metal buckets filled with proteas and assorted 'fynbos' are great - simple, unpretentious and so beautiful!
Waterford Wine Estate certainly looks like one to add to the 'travel to-do list' next time I'm down South...

We had a chocolate and (Waterford) wine tasting for the guests at our wedding. But we missed out as it was while we had some photographs taken. I think we must visit here to have the experience! Lovely pics.
