Glass Cloche

Glass Cloche or Bell Jar - Originally made for protecting plants from the cold.  I am using mine to protect [display] my bone china tea cup collection!
It took quite a bit of manoeuvring to get this to work.  I turned the jar upside down, and stacked the cups.  Placing some small plates in between prevented the whole arrangement from compacting in itself once turned the right way up!
And the gold-edged saucers are stacked on the shelf underneath!

It looks great. Must have been quite something when you turned it the right way round again too...
(My word verification is "johies" ... maybe google knows where I live!)

What a clever idea and it must have taken quite a bit of careful stacking :)

love it, but somehow now want cups and cloche stacked directly on the stack of dinner and dessert plates. imagine the drama!
