Crowds!

This past weekend was full of colourful people - thousands of them! We went to a Christian Crusade with Angus Buchan in Durban - one of many around our country. It was a very moving experience! The Stadium was packed with around 50 000 people. I was struck by the pattern they created, as they sat tightly packed!
I have found that there are quite a few people out there who are also intrigued by crowds:
Artist Diana Ong depicts a crowd so simply and colourfully:
I enjoy Peter O's sketch of a crowd at a Party I would LOVE to get my hands on this lamp called "Our Crowd" which was sold at Habitat a few years ago. Pictured here on Hector Milla's photostream

I just love what Angus is doing in our country!!!

I am totally convinced you could make a lamp with cut-outs and sihouettes (-:

I am actually afraid of crowds - and avoid them at all costs. But the drawings are quite beautiful!

You are so lucky to have been able to hear Angus Buchan. I'm sure it was worth facing the crowds!

Wow! That is one huge crowd of people - I have to agree with Anairam tho'-I am very claustrophobic in large crowds.

Aaaah, I've actually SEEN that lamp! I touched it and contemplated buying it, because I was looking for a lamp at the time. Why didn't I buy it? I thought it was stunning, but didn't think at the time that it would stay 'cool', I can be so silly sometimes! I am regretting that decision SO much.
I love silhouettes, so I should have bought it... (sigh)
I love your blog, that silver frame is so much nicer than the gold one.
