Cotton Collection

This colourful collection of thrifted cottons, stored in a hat box, spurs on my crochet endeavors! I am thinking of some colourful  flower brooches maybe?
What I have been busy with is covering these soda bottles:
- seen here with leaves from our ice cream bush!
Have a happy weekend.  I am hoping to spend at least some it with my crochet hook!

Oh wow, what beautiful bottles... I love how your crocheting softens their lines. I haven't crocheted in ages, but this makes me want to have a go again.

I begin to wonder if there is anything in the world that would not be more lovely with one of your crocheted covers added! Such a great transformation from ordinary to extra special!

I'm really enjoying your crochet 'covers'! They look fantastic, and the covered PBJs were pure genius :)

These are lovely. The bottles take on quite a different quality. I saw a pic earlier - it must have been flickr - someone had wrapped a tree in their garden with a crochet tablecloth !
